GAMESFEST 4

Finally I got to meet the Steve Jackson at GAMESFEST 4. He was very personable and I spent quite a bit of time talking to him on the Fighting Fantasy stand. Steve kindly signed ten books for me! Now you know what I look like as well, yes the bald one. On the left in the photo is the one and only Jonathan Green, author of Spellbreaker, Knights of Doom, Curse of the Mummy, Bloodbones, Howl of the Werewolf and the latest, Stormslayer. GAMESFEST 4 Advert.

A great day out in Watford as you see, loads of stands with goodies for sale and table top games taking place all throughout the day. See the goodies I bought back below.

Jonathan kindly signed six books for me as well. He even signed Arrooo! in my copy of Howl of the Werewolf. He also tried so desperately to share more on his yet to be released Night of the Necromancer but Nick from Icon (Wizard) Books, who can be seen in the background in the black t-shirt, prevented him from letting anything slip. Jonathan and Steve in the thick of signing books and sharing stories with other fans who were in awe of them both. I am honoured to be called a legend by Jonathan on his blog, but come on, look at them both, the epitome of FF at the very least. Steve caught Jonathan stealing his catchphrase "May your stamina never fail" that he had signed in my copy of Stormslayer.
